nellieblystunad: I always see this. What are they saying? That you can’t be smart and believe in God? That somehow not believing in God makes you better? I find every interpretation of this quote very stupid but I never know which the author meant. It means that a smart person does not need to be promised paradise to know why committing good deeds is good.
